I guess when I said I’d post this “tomorrow”, I meant “when I feel like it”. Taking a week off of work to do nothing was exactly what I needed though! I am finding it easier to concentrate at work and on studying for my next exam.
I accomplished a lot on vacation, some of it fiber related. I finished up the Lorna’s Laces roving I was spinning:

This is not the greatest picture, so here is another with the new skein snuggled up on my bookshelf with a lot of my other handspun.

The colors in this are much lighter than the yarn I have in the same colorway but I really like them. I think I only have 125 yards of 3-ply (navajo-plied), so I’m not sure what I can make with it, but I have a lot of handspun like that.
I also finished up the On Deck Pullover. I tried to take some self-timer pictures before Kevin came and helped me. Clearly I make some funny faces while trying to hear if the picture has been taken yet.

I like the way this turned out, but if I were to do it again, I would make the armsyces less deep. I’m REALLY short-waisted, and I sometimes forget to compensate for this.
I have a couple more fiber-y things finished, but I need to take some pictures before I post them. Next time!

The sweater looks great–and I love those pictures, especially the first one, it’s a perfect model photo, with that mildy cranky and confused look that is so haute now. ;)
